6.1 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Sindhupalchowk, Tremors Felt in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Sindhupalchowk early this morning, sending tremors across several districts, including Kathmandu.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the quake occurred at 2:51 AM with its epicenter at Bhairabkunda in Sindhupalchowk district. The tremors were felt in the eastern and southern parts of Nepal, causing panic among residents.

Authorities are assessing potential damages and casualties, but no major incidents have been reported so far.
